    On my PLM2000 I have to wait to turn the machine on until the purple window pops up. Then it will find and communicate with it. You should also run the setup program and make sure everything is configured for your machine. Mine is an older one with an Animatics controller and a serial number that starts with 3 digits and a space instead of 3 digits and a dash.
