It have been a while since I have been looking into this but know the summer is over and I would really love to find a solution to this 7024 error. I have been in contact whit the produser of the triax CMS in Italy and there is one there that answers my mail.

I would like to find the best way to locate my problem. one you you was talking about running the drive directlt from a battery box. I have never done anything like that before but If I understand you rigth you connect directly to the drive and makes a signal that the drive thinks is from the controller. Have anyone done that on similar drives as I have?

If you read the file for the 6SC610 drive I sent you,you will see start up instructions for setting each axis using a battery box.
The same instructions can be used for your drive as Siemens use the same terminal numbers for the same functions on all these drives.
If you cannot understand it come back and I will print it out for you.
Using a battery box is common when setting up new drives or tracing faults on machines as it takes the control out of the equation.
