I paid $250 a piece for the gear boxes <6arc/min backlash, and the servos are mostly all less then $90-$150 a piece depending on size. Excellent quality

I bought them from Anaheim Automation - Your source for Stepper Motor, Brushless DC Motor, DC Motor, and Planetary Gearbox Products. Both servos and gearboxes, i think the prices is on their site.

    Thank you Madosta.

The only thing i have cutted is the "mdf stipes" under the spoilboards. I have not yet connected any dust system properly so i dont wanna cut that much yet cos the dust really gets everywhere. As soon as i get it running im gonna start experimenting with cutting.

I will get some time around christmas to cut my first things so stay tuned and i will post some pics/vids of it

    Update!

Long time since last update now, but i have had some time at my vacation to work with my machine.

I have surfaced the spoilboard and cut in some aluprofiles who will work as holddown racks in the board.
I've reworked the watercooling system and changed couplings and power connector on the spindle, i thought the standard ones where a little "cheap" and lowquality.
I've managed to break one 12mm bit and 2 3mm bits
I have got rid of all the noise that caused my SmoothStepper to hang when i tried to start the spindle (running the Huanyang plugin for Mach3)
Installed Limitswitches which where not a minute to late!
Cut out and solder my own homeswitches inspired by Romanlinis thread in the open source forum.

The things in my prioritylist now are:

Get the homing to work as i want i.e autosquaring.
    auto Z tool setter
    install my fogbuster
    Hardstops on X axis
    Connect hall sensors from motors
Spindle adjustment (u can see a small stepping on the surfacing)
Cut out all ideas that i have inside my head
