What version do you have? I have a post library might be able to help.

    posting a post

    Steve,
We are using Mx3 with a 4 axis vmx hurco that is a year old. Is it okay to upload a hurco machine definition and post file? I do not want to violate any Mastercam rules.

    Camtd,
I don't think so, looks like in the post area many people do it. I no longer work for a dealer so don't know the new rules Mastercam comes up with. I think if you are a legal software user (which you are ) and it your post have at it and put it up. If you need help editing your post send it to me on the email , that would be the best way.

    hurco 4th axis brake

    Hi,
Anyone know how to stop a Hurco 4th axis from applying the brake at every move?
When surface machining in Mastercam X- the post outputs moves at the set tolerance, for example 0.001. At the end of each move it applies the brake so in fact it hardly gets to cut at all but the brake on the rotary head is going on and off very quickly.

Depending on the post, you should be able to change the "Index" variable to 0. Then it would be a Full rotary and not an Indexer type 4th axis. Depending on how many people have hacked around in the post this should work.
