Hi all,
We own a small workshop in Cairo, Egypt that's based entirely on conventional machines. Lately, we've faced some difficulties doing some parts using our conventional machines, and had to turn down a few jobs.
So we're thinking of investing in a CNC milling machine to use with these types of jobs.
Generally we work with 1-mm thick Low-carbon steel, and sometimes aluminum.
We have already determined all of our machine specifications, but couldn't determine the suitable horsepower that would be needed for the spindle motor.
So could anybody please suggested how much hP would at least be needed for our applications ?
Also, if we buy a used machine with a max. RPM of 6,000, would that be ok ?
Thanks !
