Are you planning more support for the cutting surface in the form of a table of some sort? I'd be inclined to think there might be some sag in there particularly where the x screws are.
Is that a jig bore in the background, a drill press with a knee or a small vertical mill?
Yeah i was considering that my self. I am going to wait untill i get the x drives completely done to make sure i get the table braces in the right spot.
Hopfully if dad can get it from work for a decent price. i am going to be using a 3/4" micarta fr4 laminate for the table top. Should really make a difference in rigidity and help aginst sag as well.
Well i call it a small vertical mill. But i dont know what a jig bore is.
It has a made in belgium label and a G with a M in side it for a logo.
