I am looking for a free, or cheap, software simply to transmit to one CNC mill, a Supermax Max-1 with a Fanuc OM control. I have used NCNet Lite in the past, so I downloaded it again, and I have yet to receive my activation password. Also it appears that they now charge for parameter files. I need something that does not have a size limitation. Some of the programs I make can be rather large, especially when you get into 3d milling.

I've used windows' Hyperterminal. Takes abit to understand setting up. Look up dnc4U and dncsoftware. Both less than $150 USD

Do a Google search for DNC freeware, I found some awhile back, but can't remember.

Almost all CAM systems have some type of communication software. There are many other shareware and freeware out there, with limited or no support. But if you want support, Predator is what we recommend to our clients.

Sorry, the program I have is only for file transfers, not dnc.
I should have read the post better.

The term "DNC" is usually thrown around loosely. a DNC program can be used to send programs into memory or to dripfeed into the machine. I am not sure if the freebees will drip, but I do know Predator handles dripfeed very well, but it's everything but free.
