I can understand your frustration and the repair costs when something is wrong, Im a electronic engineer and are not afraid to look at electronic and do my own repair if needed... But if our laser fails we will need to find the money for the repair at Cerion... the expertise need for this can(in my opinion) only be found at Cerion/manufacrure
To answer you questions(as to what i know)
1. No i haven't found a forum for the last 7 years we been in business.
2. We would newer do that... the technology and the calibration of a new laser source could damage your optical components.
3. We had a Chinese laser before we got a Cerion laser... cannot recommended that at all... a lot of problem and the Chinese service culture does not fit the Scandinavian/European expectations on service.
4. The laser diode degrades the same way as other lights sources. Thats why you are able to adjust the power to the diode from the settings menu... have you done that ?
