    looking for help with MC8 file

    Hello can someone tell me if a file is converted from MC8 to STL does it loose anything?
    I am in dire need to find a way to convert MC8 to STL.
    Thanks for any help!!

    Hi CG - What is MC8? If its Mastercam and you have the Gcode then you need software that converts gcode to geometry. If its mastercam geometry and you have MC then you can export it as an stl file. Peter

    Sure, there are many losses. STL is almost clean geometry only.
    So, don't delete your initial source file.
