    Vectorcam 0,5k vs deskproto 1k

    Hi.
I have a small router, home made, with 3 axis + 4th rotary to work small pieces silver/brass.
I was between: Cs-Lab - good hardware but buggy mach3 or SimCNC beta :nono: , Centroid Oak - good hardware but Starbucks software prices (flame2):nono: and EdingCNC icnc600 - slow hardware but good software without small leter .

I need a 05-1k$ intuitive, easy to learn and work, CAM software with 4th axis indexed capability 2D and 2.5D.

For CAD I will use fusion 360, rhino (maybe more)

I not find too mach info about Vectorcam, it is lucking for me like Deskproto but chaper.

    Any help to choice, please?

    Thank you,
    Coly

VectorCAM and DeskProto are very different programs, that work in very different ways.
    You really can't compare them.
DeskProto accepts mesh models,While VectorCAM accepts solid models.

I will take my time to discover what is the difference between mesh and solid because in this moment, no idea.about this.
If the price it is almost double, it is for something, this is sure.
Thank you for your time to give real help, and not only in this thread.
