    HELP-LOAD PARAMETERS RS232

    We have a 5020A CNC 88HS.
Had a problem with memory and lost everything.
I have the parameters and backlash settings stored on my PC.
They came from the CNC by RS232. Don't remember how I transferred them.
Right now, I need to get them back to the control by RS232 and don't know how.
    Can anyone help?
    thanks

    Re: HELP-LOAD PARAMETERS RS232

well if you cant communicate with the control thru RS232 and computer software (https://www.fadalcnc.com/media/pdf/S...munication.pdf) . If the Card is in the Cabinet pocket it may have the parameter settings and just go to SETP and reenter them, thats pretty easy only 3 pages just answer each question. in the pocket you should have the SV (survey) numbers too. and as far as backlash it changes over time and should be checked periodically with an indicator, use the BL command to set those. BL,1,10,10,10 would be .001 backlash for X axis Center, Right, Left BL,2 is Y axis, BL,3 is Z

Or go to Calmotion.com and buy a USB device just plugs into the RS232
