    cnc milling

    i have a fagor8055 mc mill.i was wondering can i transfer a solidworks drawing to machine.What type of file should it be?

    You shuld use cam softwere. I recomend solidcam.

    depending on your needs and budget there are a lot aof cam packages for solidworks dolphin or bobcad ,..

    you can use solidcam, solidcam is the best software Plugin software in solidworks.

    Keep in mind, solidcam is pretty expansive. At least 1.5k per seat.

    You can also look at VisualCADCAM for Solidworks, which gives you CAM functions within the Solidworks workspace. It comes in various levels, with more features on each higher level (at additional expense). Check my site (under toolpaths) for more information about it.
