    6t over travel, but not

literally not moving carraige, got an over tvael, #210, +x. Was in home position at the time, and loading programs!

Limit switch is not sticking. As far as I can tell, switch works perfectly with a volt/ohm meter. Ive a bunch of breakers, wiggled plugs, reconnected, powered up/down more than I can count. I cannot get it cleared.
Tried holding P,Q,cancel on start up, holding P, cancel on start up. nothing.

Its on a Takisawa TS-20 lathe.

Even disconnected wires from the limit switch to try and clear it, nothing. Leads me to think its not the limit switch.

Most likely the I/O interface board. Check the diagnostic for this input.

Any idea on what diagnostic #, position Id be looking for, or what Id want to see there? Looking thru all the manuals, not finding much to really help out.

    DGN 032.0 = *+LX and 032.1 = *-LX
    DGN 033.0 = *+LY and 033.1 = *-LY
    DGN 034.0 = *+LZ and 033.1 = *-LZ
These should be '1' when NOT on their respective limit.

you can take a 1k resistance and insert it in the place of the limit switch to discharge the input and work with your machine.
after discharged take it off and see if it gets 1 again.
if it is than you can do the following:
for the hard limit instead you can use a rubber or hard plastic stopper, shaped as an U profile ,mounted on the bearings support for the x axe
