Not a problem with the disable setting and still works fine when I go back to 1.9. I had the same problem when I first got the mill and Tormach had me swap some of the limit switch wiring. It's just weird that after two other upgrades it now has a problem with this one. Also the Y and Z are fine.

    Could it be

The discrepancy was the door switch in the settings column setting, uncheck it and the machine will reference fine.

I assumed they meant the spindle door.
What Tormach meant was the full enclosure door switch not the spindle door switch..

Ok so I reloaded 1.9.2 and z and y are fine but when I reference the X axis it hits the limit switch and the door light comes on as it is still trying to travel.
Time to dig out the wiring diagram.

I have now and that fixes the referencing problem but what about the door safety?

The "door safety" check box is for the new enclosure they are selling, not the door safety on the machine, a bit confusing.

    Ahh IC

New problem, I have no coolant,
pump is working fine when plugged into wall outlet
button on screen lights up and I can hear a relay working when I click the button
using M8 lights the button on screen

    EDIT
OK so after re connecting the coolant pump and cycling on and off a few times it is working.
    Relay going bad?

Could be the pump is getting gunked up and hard to start too. They do that after a while with some coolants and it will behave just like this.

Good idea but I did check the outlet and there was no power

Re: v1.9.2 is out... who volunteers to be the guinea pig?

I had an issue with my original PCNC1100 pump where it would "buzz" very lightly, it was because it was gunked up with coolant after having not been run for a week. After a few go arounds of popping it apart and twisting the shaft with pliers, I ended up replacing it with Tormach's "high quality" 1/8hp pump (vs 1/10hp original) and haven't seen any issues since. The new pump is quite a bit more powerful and definitely fills the locline with no problem. I run the locline without the nozzle at the end to get more coolant on the part and keep chips flushed out.

If you're sure it's a power issue, you might need to check your fuses inside your electrical cabinet. They are called out on the wiring diagram.

    Good luck!

I finally updated to v1.9.2 and all is well, except, my Jog % is 40% every time I restart. Does anyone know how to change this by default? I had a brief look in some of the files in the TMC/config folder, but no luck.

Tormach does this on purpose since it is easy to crash a probe/tip/tool at 100%

This was explained to me on the phone

The only anomaly I have lately is the "P word with a G 81 or 83 move, it will be ignored" error that sometimes is in the Sprut 7 posts, PathPilot ignores it but it still produces an error message.

Thanks for the info. I guess I'll just have to manually slide it up to 100% every time I start up PathPilot.

I think it is a pain, however most things that save our ass are. I only need to deal with it once every job. It is acceptable then.
