    Angry 602 non-monotonous pq block in x alarm

    i am just not seeing what the damn problem is??????????????????????

    here is the program that it is alarming out on. any help would be great. and this is genarated straight from onecnc????????????????????? please help lol

    You are trying to move in the X- you need to have the X and Z dimension in the first G01 move so it knows you are trying to use type 2 movement. It's all in the Haas manual under G71. I would have N40 G00 X0.7222 Z-0.9183. Next line. G01 X0.7222 Z-0.9497 F0.002

    We program all our lathes by hand, but we do have a seat of OneCNC that we use for our mills. I'm not in front of mine today as I don't work Friday's but we have edited the generic Haas mill post to suit what we want. There may be a button to click that puts the X and Z in on all lines. It'll make your programs bigger but at least it would make sure you don't have this problem again.

    adding the z to the N40 line worked. going to mess with onecnc and see if i can manipulate it. to spit out the right code.

    N40 G00 X0.7222 W0.0 F(for G70 only);
    (G71 F should be more like .008);

    tight tolerance odd shaped groove, using a vnmg. so .002 is conservative and trouble free.

    How's the ST30 working out for you. Have you ever thouht it was too big? Would you buy it again

    it was already here. it works well for everything i do. if i was to by one i would buy something smaller, with out the tail stock. ive been here for 2.5 yrs and have never used it. lol
