This thread is for anyone who has bought one of Dale Walsh's CNC spindles.

It appears that the first sets of these spindles were shipped to a large customer and he is now within a week or so of assembling the ones bought thru the kickstarter website.

It has been over a year and I am anxiously waiting to see the final product.

Are there any members here who have one of his spindles? How about anyone else here that has been waiting on delivery?

After waiting all that time why are you looking at selling it? It seemed a good solution?

It's is a very nice spindle. But the year and a half I waited for it I moved on to other things and have lost interest in putting it to use. So right now it is just sitting on my bench. I may get back to working on my CNC mill later but for now I just am not working on it.

Given the deafening silence I'm receiving from Dave Walsh, I'm guessing he's got no interest in fulfilling all the pledges.

Have you gotten on his IRC channel or tried calling him on the phone? He is noted for NOT answering emails and insists on phone or his IRC channel.

I have one, along with 30 tool holders. Same story....took a long while to get it and I went a different route in the meantime. It is a cool spindle, but if I use it, it won't happen anytime soon.

I'd forgotten about this thread until I just got the new reply notification in my email.

I did eventually get my spindle along with 8 tool holders and air cylinder, but I'm the same as others and have no plans to ever use it.
So if anybody in the UK is looking for one, I'm open to offers.

I never did get the air cylinder, but they are easy to come by.
