HI a friend ha just got a new 6090 that I have been setting up for him. It has come set up for ncstudio and came with a card for the pc. During the setup process we powered it up for the first time, was able to use the jog to move it around a little, then it stopped for no apparent reason. On the pc screen in the status window there is a red solid circle and some writing the looks like wingdings or some thing. rebooting etc is no help. If I start the ncstudio without the pc connected to the cnc, no error, but as soon as I connect it the red circle appears
Any suggestions?

Also my friends other cnc I set up, a 6040, runs mach3, since we are used to mach3 I am considering switching over to that.

I am guessing I would need to get a mach3 break out card and replace the card in the cnc with it?
Any suggestions on a card? should the card do spindle speed
