Thanks very much for your reply Tom.
Downloaded your file on the Lcnc forum, thanks for that too.
Was up till after midnight reading the Lcnc manuals. Very different to Mach but no doubt I'll get used to it in time.
Keith.

@whateg01
You will also need 1 momentary switch for floating head to be able to test it.
Another possibility is to connect the "torch on" signal out to "arcok" signal in directly on the BOB so no switch necessary there. Forgot to mention this earlier, i did try it and it works.
@mancavedweller
The major difference between them is MACH is proprietary and closed so very little can be done to modify it ( except the screen set i can not think of anything ), and Linuxcnc is open source and open anything so it can be modified any way you see fit.
I will stop here since it is getting off topic and i do not need another mach vs Lcnc war going on here, since in my opinion it is pointless and utterly useless and i for one for the life of me can not understand how mach can compete with Lcnc, the only thing they have in common is that they control a machine!!! From then on Lcnc is a totally different beast and waaaaay beyond the capabilities of mach.
Then again, to each it's own.
Regards
Tom

edit: now it shows up. Strange...
