    Where on earth do you manage to find all of your steel? Not to mention all of your linear parts like slides ball screws and servos!
    Im very impressed with your work. Just one question, is that a 10mm pitch ball screw direct driven by a servo motor? If so thats going to have a very fast rapids

    I buy steel from my neighbour. It costs about $0.75/kg. The motors for xyz is closed loop stepper motor. The pitch of ball screw is 5mm.

    Now I'm working on the DIY grinding machine. I need a larger size to ground XYZ base before I put the rails and ball screws on.
    What is your DIY grinding machine looks a like?

    A friend bought it for me. It's unused and the size is 45mm, 890mm long. A rail and 2 sliders weights about 17kg. PM if you are interested in having some lol. This project will be started soon.

    @asuratman It's H type grinding machine. I don't have the drawing now.

    I've made a mistake by posting in wrong thread.
    Here are the updates:






    I tested the speed last night. Z can moves at F2500, 3000 and 4200mm/min.

    It's the rapid move. The real cutting feed rate should be much lower than that (chair)
