    V24 Lathe

    Hello All, I just started using v24 lathe have had bobcad since 19 but just got the lathe part off it, I can not get it to use canned cycles? also in the lathe set up under cutting conditions database the folder is empty? I have tried every post on the web site and none of them post canned cycles out that work? it does post out this line of code G71 P001 Q002 U0. W0. D0250 F20..Please any help Thanks

    All depends on your machine control as to what it uses, if you have the Manual check what Format of Canned Cycle it uses, here is what my V24 Lathe Fanuc 0T PP produces for a simple G71 turning cycle :-

    G71 U25 R.1
    G71 P1 Q2 U0. W0. F127

    This is known as the "Two Line Cycle", does your use this or a single line cycle ? ? This PP does work

    It uses single line. I have not tried it on the lathe yet I have been hand programing it. I just started using v24 lathe and trying to get it to work
