Which I can never understand because I have a bunch of VMC's which are normally called milling machines. In absolute mode they interpret a G-code command to mean 'start from the point you are at and move to that other point defined by these coordinates'. In incremental mode they interpret a G-code command to mean 'start from the point you are at and move this distance on the Y axis and this distance on the X axis to that other point'.Originally Posted by ger21
