    soft limits and work coordinate

Im receiving a soft limit warning z max that is keeping me from running my files.
Im pretty sure its the positive move of the rapid the problem.
Is soft limits looking at machine coordinate or work coordinate ?
After referencing all and zeroing z on top of material to zero as usual I get the warning when
    trying to run .
the machine coordinate number are ok and should not trigger a warning...
like the rapid move is .1 ,once my work coordinate is zeroed on top of material ,
    my machine coordinate read -2.
