managing excess tools in tool table

    hi all
how you guys manage the excess tools in the part tool table ? lets say my machine can accommodate 21 tools when i choose a 22 nd tool to program i have to change the tool number in the g-code . i used to program all the operations in one file but while machining the part we will split out the 1st , 2nd , 3rd operations in different machines accordingly .is there a way to reorder tools without exceeding the tool number ?

    cheers

    yes there is.
This is my way of doing it:
    tool 1-99 for Operation 1
    tool 100-199 for operation 2
    tool 200-299 for operation 3
    so on.....

do some modification in the post so that it will always post out tool number less than 100
i.e: when tool number is 123, post out T23, when tool number is 315, post out T15.
