Tapping on ACER vmc 1724 with anilam 6000m

My apologies if this is the wrong place for this thread:

I'm am trying to rigid tap on my acer vmc1724 with an Anilam 6000M. I know it has the capabilities to do this. I am creating my code with featurecam and set it in the program for rigid tapping. When I run my code, the machine seems to jump in Z and doesn't actually do any cutting. It's using a g84 code setup like this: G84 Zn Rn Fn Sn Pn where Z is cut depth, R is initial start,F is TPI, S is spindle sync, and P is Z retract height after cut. Freaturecam spits out the line like this G84 Z-1.994 R.1 S1 F.0626 (i'm trying to cut 3/8 16 threads) My spindle speed is set at 100 rpms. The only way i can get the machine to actually try to cut threads is when i change the s value to 0. Even then it goes through its motion but the spindle speed and feedrate aren't synced and i typically get a Maximum feedrate exceeded error. it will typically pull the tap half way out before the spindle reverses. (i've been using wax so far for my trials) I know the feedrate in the program is set correctly (at 100 rpms the feedrate is 6.25 ipm) It seems like the controller isn't calculating the feed correctly based off the spindle speed.

Any thoughts on this issue. I appreciate any help!

Change the F to 16 because it is asking for TPI, not the lead.

Wow, do I feel like a doofus now. After reading the manual and messing with the g-code it was as easy as that. I don't know how many times I read TPI and though threads per inch to myself but never made the connection. FeatureCAM was using lead on me but that was an easy fix in the post-processor so now it shouldn't happen again. Thanks!
