Just my funny bone.
I am assuming Chips means the $50 fee required certification offered thru the Bobcad website.
I have spent most of my life, correcting mistakes made by "certified" specialists, so yes, I laughed out loud about this. Damn't, laughing again
never seen that
but
you do get a certificate after Sorin's,,,and No there is no testing and yes I got one of those and no I will not do this Mill User Exam Start Page | BobCAD-CAM ,,,but the test does spark my curiosity as to what is on them.
Says the test is included with seminar if I read it correctly, Looks like maybe you can at least get a free look.
i would think to get a certification you would need to take and pass a test... I think MC and SW has a certification deal also

They don't trash too many parts (feather in the cap for the Pro Simulation ) but tools they can be awfully hard on. No leadins, just plowing straight down into the part, feeds way too fast on <0.125" tools, that sort of thing.
Drawing seems to be the biggest problem. I keep looking at V27 wondering if it will make things easier or if they will have to re-learn everything again. Maybe more trouble than it's worth? Not sure yet. I'm waiting for some really good feedback from the folks who have V27.
Finding it kind of hard getting use to The Other Direction in some of the Cad features. What was wrong with Positive and Negative?
My 8yr. old grand daughter might ask is that Pos or Neg and I really don't want to reply The Other Direction.
