    lb300 u100lLtow along tailstock

    hi al,
    got a little problem.
Got a non programmable tow along tailstock with a tailstockclamp wich is a left threathed nut.
I am trying to program the tow along part (with parameters,v100= pick up position, v101= rest position.
the problem is that after positioning at Z=V100 a M00 for unlocking the nut and pushing up the tow along pen the program gives a error because programmed move to Z=V101 is not allowed with tow along pen in up position(wich isnt a bad thing actually)
now i got it working (partionaly manual) with changing the positive and negative variable limit for Z-axis and after M00 moving the tailstock thrugh "mid auto manual mode" to the positive or negative z-axis limit after witch a restart button must be pushed to go back to where you were when starting the "mid auto manual mode" before resuming the auto program.
Isn't there a thing i can try to do the tow along part with a G01 command (with VLMON on for cheching if nut is unclamped or pen is down ).

    just thinking it's a e100L controll

you can cancel the tailstock barrier interlock. You can fake the description of tailstock barrier variables

i'm watching this close, as i don't know how to use our tow along, either.
u100 control is probably similar to my osp7000(?)

@mkd. Do you need more info about how i partionaly manual place the tailstock at accactely te same position so it can be usefull in a series production or was my first post clear enough.
I dont think there wil be a solution comming up about how to program the towing part.
