    Vise Shoe

Just made a vise shoe for my Glacern V690, which is quite a chunk of iron. The shoe is made of wood to protect the vise when it is off the mill, and the drawer it is stored in.

Very nice work. That's an impressive drawer to hold the vise!

    Re: Vise Shoe

I was thinking about the Bungee cord, and I figured it was to hold the wood fitted box to the vise??

I have a similar smaller one and it weighs 82 pounds, so I am pretty sure it isnt to hold the vise down ha!

I t looks nice!! I made a similar box for the top of the spindle gearbox of the lathe.

I make lots of wood boxes for various things and for monogramed giveaways.
