machined an iphone5 just as a bit of a fun project







I blacked the engraving on the back to make it stand out more





then I got pressured to put it on ebay by some friends lol

I first borrowed a friends phone and drew an exact copy in autoCAD, then I used cambam to generate the code then mach3 to machine.

ive got a denford triac vmc, with 6 station atc and coolant flood

Hilarious. I put it on my watch list to see what it ends up going for. You had 6 bids when I looked. Btw I do like it just not enough to buy it but it is well done. There will be a battle for it on the last day, some dad buying it for his child to mimic mom.

Hi it looks like you got a nice finish in the aluminium. How did you find using the small end mills, was the spindle speed a limiting factor. What is your spindle max speed.
