After a couple emails today asking about C7 double ballnuts I checked with Chai and he carries them too so I put in an order for a new set, should fit easily with just a little more pocketing of the saddle for the X ballnut.
The standard C7 ballnuts have very low backlash themselves and much less friction but this is another option to try.
The pic should be similar but don't know for sure till they show up.
I won't be doing my Z, too much work for me now.

Not much more than with the regular nuts but actual cost depends on what you get, what you have him machine and where you live.

    Hi Hoss,

    Re: Touchscreen

Are you running windows XP? Did you have to install drivers? Is there a calibration procedure? I went to the website where the Ebay seller said the drivers are, there is a driver file there which is around 70 MB which seems big for a driver.

    Thanks
    Sean

The driver for XP I used was called 20130114_nxHIDCon_v3 about 35 megs, it includes calibration software too.
They have it labeled nxHIDCon 3.00.0R01143 http://www.inexio.co.kr/07_download/download02.html
The calibration isn't real involved just touching points at the corners of the screen.
I tried the 2nd monitor with my windows 7 computer and it picked it up automatically and worked from the start.

    Thanks Hoss!

That worked out well. I didn't see a calibration procedure, it just worked?

    Thanks
    Sean

It should have installed a folder called inexio with the utility and a manual for calibrating.

Snagged the last one available from the link I gave for my lathe project but he has another batch listed for a little more that come with a stand.

If you search the model number these korean monitors are available worldwide used.
    Hoss,

I received my touchscreen monitor yesterday. This touchscreen is amazingly heavy duty as it is in a metal case. Looks like I've got one bad pixel, but no biggie. Also looks like there are some really minor particles that have got onto the backside of the screen, and maybe I'll try and get in there and do some cleanup.

I tried to hook the touchscreen up to my son's el-cheapo Lenovo Windows 8 laptop tonight and the screen works great, but had no joy in getting the touch feature to work. For some reason the USB mouse driver isn't doing what it needs to be doing. And this even after I downloaded the 30+MB driver file that you used.

Maybe it will work better on one of my ancient XP laptops, or maybe I'll have to wait and try it on the Novakon Torus Windows computer. God I hope that computer isn't set up with Win 8. The Torus should ship early next week and take about a week in transit.

Ah, I was just using desktops, perhaps a different driver is there for laptops or windows 8 although they say on the ebay page windows 8 should work like windows 7.

TB, you ever get your touchscreen apart and cleaned? Get the touch portion working?
I had to follow Hoss's lead as well and just got mine in. It's heavy duty that's for sure.

Thanks to AVRnj we can see the PM30MVL (long table BF30) compared to the other mills.
Fits in between the G0704 and the RF45 but closer to the RF45.
Weighs a couple hundred or so pounds more than the G0704 but a couple hundred pounds less than the RF45.

Very nice collection of 1/4 scale mills Hoss!

Thanks for including the BF30, nice job printing.

Very interesting to see between the RF45 and the G0704, since those were the 3 I was considering.

Thanks again for printing and sharing all these, very cool to see.

I got it. I had load the other drivers. There were several to choose from for XP.

Which drivers did you use? Others may have similar issues and could benefit from what you have learned.

For XP, I had to use the drivers on their website called: "nxHIDCon 3.00.0R01143"
Their site is: Driver & SDK | Infrared Touch Screen Manufacturer - NEXIO
