I need some help for a drawing for a radiator fin for a model truck radiator. This drawing will be the artwork for a photoetch operation.
I want to evenly space (.0995 on centers) 46 .021 x .300 rectangles along a line. The way I did it last time, I drew a line across the center of my part, added an incremental point along the line, and then added the rectangles to each point. I had to then go back and delete all the unneeded lines and points and repeated that 3 times. Once I got four of them drawn out, I copied the whole shebang and ended up with eight.
I know there HAS to be an easier and faster way. I dug around in my training videos but I'm not quite finding what I need. I figure I should be able to:
1. Evenly space the smaller rectangles along the length of the larger rectangle.
2. Draw one complete fin out.
3. Copy the fin for the other seven for the artwork.
I think my attached drawing will explain it quite clearly what I am doing. The forum wouldn't let me upload a bbcd file, so I renamed it to txt.
BTW...I'm redoing this because I somehow lost my last drawing.
Thanks for any help that will save me time on this.
Mike
