Not sure where you are located, but most Tech schools offer some help finding companies. We have programs here in Wisconsin, (Sometimes referred to as I.C.E., Industrial Cooperative Education), which lets you work and learn while attending school. If school doesn't offer it, check some of the staffing agencies. They are sometimes offering things similar. When you say you're in school for 'CNC', do you mean operator, programmer, or?
im located in California. ya we have something like that where companies will send us hot leads for jobs but they all require experience witch i do not have. so it makes it a little harder to get into a beginner situation. ive been looking into unions because of the apprenticeship programs they offer, plus the on the job training along with it. im currently in metal theory and beginner CAD programming.
