Dear Sirs

Good Afternoon

I have got a Dell (Model Inspiron 1564) Laptop with Windows 7 Home Basic Service Pack , intel core i3 CPU, 2.13 GHz,3 GB RAM, 64 Bit operating system

This laptop is hardly 3 years old and using at home

I am facing following problems

a) During booting, long beep sound appears during Starting up of Windows, then at a page where cursor is on on "Windows 7", with Message press Enter to continue etc

b) Often mouse stops working and mouse gets active after pressing Ctrl and Alt

c) Battery has become weak and often calls for charging

Kindly advice for points a and b

Try pulling all the RAM out (assuming it's all socketed) and reseating it.

If it will run long enough - download a copy of MEMTest86. Do the bootable CD version to eliminate any windows errors, and let it run a few days.
