    Question User defined tools

I'm doing an eval for Solidworks and Camworks for the company I work for. I am a long time pro engineer/ pro manufacturing user. Solidworks is pretty simple so far compared to pro engineer. Camworks seemed pretty user friendly as well until I ran into user defined cutters. I assume that Camworks uses access for a lot of their database. It took me a while to get a model to save as a *.mil file. Now I am attempting to add the tool to the database. I am trying to input values "D1, D2 etc" but the program does not like what I am doing. Their help menu is not getting me to where I need to be. Can someone give me a little help on this issue?

    TIA
    Terry

    Terry,

Go to the help menu in SolidWorks go down and pick CAMWorks 201? then pick CAMWorks help topics and type in user-defined tools! You will want to read that page and also the first blue link on how to draw them is also important. I hope this helps if you need anything else you can also call me.
