    Probe Feed

Hi, I've had it a couple of times where the feed for the probing sequence has been left at the previous speed (i.e. 89 ipm). Is there a way to have the probe sequence default to 10 ipm?

    Adam,

You can create your own set of screens and edit the button functionality to include a F10 into the macro. I use Mach3 Screen Designer for editing Mach3 screens:

For anyone who is curious, I used the machscreen program and changed the probing sequences in the standard Tormach version of Mach 3 to default to 10ipm feedrate. I also changed the Z height to 1" when it retracts after setting the z-plane. I found out by accident that if you push the pg-down key instead of the pg-up key and you are only 0.040" above the part, you don't have time to react and the probe tip will smash .
