    Rack and pinion

    Anyone know were i can get rack and pinion stuff in edmonton alberta. I know mcmaster car has it but i need a local supplier. I was going to use the rack&pinion idea for my router idea. If there is none around is it possible for someone to tell me were i can get some acme threaded rod. Thanks

    Check your yellow pages in your phone book.There should be bearing suppliers in a Edmonton. They would stock both rack and pinion plus acme threaded shafting and nuts. There is a plant here in Waterloo,Ontario that mfg's acme threaded screws of varios dia. and pitches. Good luck

    BC Bearing has 9 outlets in AB , including Edmonton, I buy my rack through them.

    they are rep for PIC they have al kinds of liniar motions and ball screw etc.
