Dear Madam/Sir

My name is Miron Costin from Romania , the reason I post this threat is maybe you can give me an advice in my problem .

I will try to describe you my problem :

I build a 3 axis CNC ( 2700 x 1700 x 200 mm working size ) Mach3 control
1 servo motor on Z axis
1 servo motor on y axis
2 servo motors on X axis

When functioning one motor from the 2 of the X axis loses steps and remain behind
From all my research I think the only problem is that the electric signal from the encoder
interfere with voltage of the motor , I use shielded cable but do not know how to link it to the ground of the machine , I heard once upon I time that I need transistor but I don ;t know the values .

Please corect me if I mistake and maybe give me some advice in solving my problem .

Here is the some info about the components used :

drivers : Gecko Drive 320 X
G320X Digital Servo Drive

Encoder : E5-500-250-I-S-D-G-B

US Digital | Products » E5 Optical Kit Encoder

Motor : Servomotors

P.S. The reason for why I think is the signal is that when I put a direct cable from the driver to the motor it is not noisy , but when I put it back through the portcable with all the wires it becomes noisy again and start trambaling .

Best regards ,

Miron Costin
