I have also noticed a separate earth input below the main PE input on VFD. Is this for earthing the VFD to example metal cabinet?
Besides the earth there is a J1 (not sure what this is?

You don't have the manual for this? They are all on line.
The PE is for the Earth ground conductor and should receive the service ground conductor ran with the L1/L2/L3, the ground conductor to the motor frame should also be connected to this terminal.
The U,V,W are the three phases to the motor.

Hi Al,

I have checked out manuals but would just like to confirm as i am not 100% confident when it comes to electrical.
I have noticed the spindle does have both W2,U2,V2 and U1,V1,W1 marked on it
George had originally sent me the pic/attachment in previous post which shows to move the tabs in direction of arrow. The manual shows for 380v that the tabs should be on the side with the ground screw / opposite side to advised in attachment.

Attached is Teknomotor manual. The wiring in question is on page 51.

Motor identification plate also says Volt Y 380 / Volts with a triangle symbol 220

Because most of the tekno spindles are used in industrial, they come setup for 380v. 220v you have to change the pins to go up and down.

Demon cutting 150 imp at 3/4 inch, Any faster the motors die out and stall , so going to put steppers on and see should be a lot better performance.

Between 230 and 330 seconds you can hear motors at verge of stalling,

Once one of the motors stalls you lose power to all the motors, You have to turn off all power to the controller to get them to work again, so they didn't want to push them harder just in case stalled and spindle go down and through the top

that's a pretty good cut for a gantry. nice. you can hear vibrations in a few spots but not much really. was the finish good?

Yes clamps didn't hold to good . Vibrations from not flat on the top. Did 3/8 bit at 3/8 depth but just moved claps right off
