can you access the plc ladder on the control ? do you have elec drawing? If so you could find the Y output and find the M code that brings it on.
Some machines use M82 M83 but no experience with your machine sorry!
Mick
were you able to figure out the tool changing for the mit 320?.. I am having the same problems with a used machine i recently purchased.... the machine is giving me an alarm everytime i try to tool change.... ex. t1 m06
what make is your machine ? i assume you have tried M06 T01 as some machines need m06 first so that the T value can be inserted into the macro.
Mick
yes i have tried that... its a mighty comet ...
What is the alarm? does the machine start the tool change then alarm? Have u checked the tool registry for any repetitions.
Mick
I found on my Mighty Comet 750 that I had to issue an S command before doing a tool change.....
This was true whenever I started the machine up, and once any S command was used, the toolchanger worked fine. I don't even have to run the spindle, just issue some S command. Without the spindle having a speed commanded, it can't orient, and, thus cannot accomplish a tool change..
Sounds wierd, but it works on my machine that way, every time.
This may, or may not be your problem, but it sure had me puzzled as to why the toolchanger would not work.
Dave
Did anyone get anywhere with this program? I am having the same issue and need the same toochange program. Can anybody help me out?
