    one word: DON'T.. ehrmm.. that is in fact two words, but you get the picture..

    PC's cost little to nutt'n nowadays.. VMWare to control a CNC?.. are you crazy, suicidal, or both?.. CNC controls are not designed for that.. and believe me, unless you are a skilled professional with at least 10 years of experience.. you will not be able to control 2 CNC machines at the same time..

    VMware is very stable and more than capable to this task. Just taking the idea that you say it takes peanuts to run and all the control is done on the USBcnc cpu board. If I need two pc's then I will run linux with emc. There are guys in our shop that run 3-5 VMC's at a time all making parts, just like they say set it and forget it!
