In this case red is good. These leds should be on when you first power up the drive. You could also have leds 6 and 7 instead of 5 and 8.
The 00 is the readout of the onboard meter. This was KTK attempt to make fault finding on these boards quite simple.
I seem to remember there are 9 or 10 things that can be checked with that meter.
These drives are phase sensitive.
Can`t be more specific as I`ve no experience of these drives in Bridgeports but I had them in three other milling machines.
I have just replaced one and I will say that these drives were way ahead of their time with abilities and options they had.
could be some info here http://www.cnczone.com/forums/bridge...1-1_board.html
so do all the leds light up at start?
Not all of them just the ones you have mentioned,
LED 3 is the drive healthy/ready output.
It`s strange that Led 3 is on and you have a spindle fault. Is the Led on the field card on?
When the control is powered up does the LED to the left of 3 come on? (I can`t remember the number of it.You have Led3 then two relays and then this other Led)
Does the contactor come in when you programme a speed?
When I have a drive problem I split it from the control and operate it with a battery box.
the led #2 left of # 3 does not come on and if you are talking about led #1 on feild card or the MTI-1 card does not come on. Thanks Skip
Skip, are the fuses on the field card ok?
I`ve sent you a PM.
Mark.
Mark I sent you a PM, and the fuses are good. Thanks
