    Mysterious "W" series NSK Ballscrews

    It seems that most NSK ballscrews that comes up most on Ebay is a "W" series unit. Of coarse you go to NSK site and there is no "W" series (a WFA but not a plain W) and the sellers can never provide any clarification.

    My best impersonation of a professional email to NSK contact has been repeatedly unanswered.

    Anybody have a pointer to a spec??

    ================
    Eating crow time...Checked my email tonight and inside sits a spec from NSK. The only thing is that it's a WFA spec. Semi-cryptic msg saying that this spec would be sufficient. Was nice enough to give a number to an NSK engineer. Kudo's for that.

    NSK makes a lot of stuff and I think "W" is a destination for "ballscrews"- every ballscrew will start with "W" and then the dia in mm. The rest of the symbols will tell you the type.

    You need to dig into PDF's to find out more.
