    VFD recommendation

    I need to purchase a VFD to power my Pullmax P5 with a 2hp 220V 3-phase motor.

    I have 220v 1-phase in the shop. I also understand that there are some VFDs that have a remote switch too, but I just don't know enough about these units or brands to know exactly what I need.

    I already got one bid for AC Tech brand. Do you recommend that brand?

    Those are good drives, and more importantly have good documentation and USA support.

    I have a GS2 series on my lathe from Automationdirect and really like it. The manual is understandable and far better than most.
