    need a little g-code help

I came across a unique job that requires some spot drilling inside of a ring. I want to use our vertical mill with 4th axis for this, as the holes are radially spaced around the ring. The only issue is with all my programs the z axis homes before and after the program, which I can not have in this case as it will hit the part as the head will be inside the ring to drill. I attached a sample g-code I got from mastercam X9, is there a simple mod I can do in the g-code to eliminate the z homing? or something I can do in mastercam, or is this a machine control issue?

Try using toolpath point simply to position the tool to a point before and after you drill. There is also a menu under the expanded linking parameters page for approach point and retract points this may also be an option for your case but nut sure with out seeing your part.
