Few years back I had similar problem. There was G12, G13 option that new machines didn't have.
Called Methods Machine and told them that one of the machine (both were bought brand new by the company I worked for) has it, the other one does not.

Service guy told me what to do .I did it on both machines.
Try with the service guys maybe they can just help

Mettelhed... what do you need to know for rigid tap? You don't really need the parameter info for tapping. It should already be installed for your horizontal.

G93 for tapping... feed is IPR
    G84 is the cycle..

At least on our Matsuura HMCs with I80s.....
It's just a part..... cutter still goes round and round....

yeah, we have 60 other matsuuras and we do that on them.
from methods, the machine "did not come with that option installed".
Yaskawa tells me it's built in to the controller... they put it into the "options parameters".
basically, Methods wants to charge me a ton of money to change the parameter to "on".
