    LOW AIR PRESSURE ALARM

Can anyone tell me if I can bypass this setting. What we want to do is when we go home at night, hit feed hold, kill spindle, and shut compressor off. we do let it run unattended, just that some jobs we don't like too. Im pretty sure there has to be a setting in there somewhere?

    Thanks
    Jeff

    Re: LOW AIR PRESSURE ALARM

If there are no tool changes and the machine stays in the same gear, operationally the machine can operate without air pressure. the only setting I know of is the low air pressure alarm. Your could increase this number to delay the time the machine alarms out. Since the pressure switch is nothing more the an open/close electrical switch, you can create a jumper wire that "closes" the electrical circuit. We had one of these fail, and did this to keep the machine going while waiting for the replacement part
