Switches are clean, but are they operating properly? Did you check the wiring also for shorts or breaks?

other than checking at the switch box no I have no idea where to look with out tering the machine apart and folowing the wires.

I just want to know if there is a pramiter I can check and maybe try to reset because the home has always been right at the overtravle point.

before turning off machine I always move the axis away from home, otherwise you will hit the OT and need to hold the OT button on start up.

Once you are few inches out, when you go to home each axis with the proper hand jog mode, then it will have time to slow down after fast rapid, and home without hitting the hard limit switch while zeroing machine.
