I am looking for a wiring diagram, so I can make a cable to connect my Mazak Mazatrol T-1 2 axis lathe to my computer.

Connecting is not possible without special software. Contact Solutionware Inc or Griffo Bros. for costs.

We just purchased the machine shop where the Mazak is located, so I'm not that familiar with the machine so your probably right. I am confused because there is a computer connect to the mazak, but haven't been successful getting them to talk to each other. I'm not 100% sure what the computer cord connected to the machine is for???? I have taken the cord apart and notices there are only four wires on a 25/9 pin connecter. I have also been looking into GB/Data transfer from CAmlink/ griffo brothers hoping to get some answers. Thanks for the help its much appreciated.

M-4 programs are pretty easy and the control can hold 16 so downloading probably not important. The port is RS232 serial. The cable pin out is null/modem. Griffo or Solutionware if you must save programs or Mazak cassette/floppy box (both are long out of production)
