I was so excited to get home today. My cheap eBay laser turned up while I was at work! But surprise surprise, it's broken. Smashed fan backing, skewed X axis, but worse of all the laser tube is smashed internally. I suspected something was wrong when the whole tube filled with water. I thought only the middle tube was supposed to. After some unsuccessful test fires I tried to empty it of water and then spotted broken glass in the end of the tube.

The seller does returns but I have to pay the return postage. I guess I'm in for an argument then. I think I may have the advantage though, on the last test fire I got an almighty shock from it! I was touching the water bowl at the time I pressed the test button! I'm sure that may count towards me getting a replacement and a refund on the return postage.

Yeah man, Mine did the same thing although i didnt get shocked i did see the lightning from the back lift gate to the tube during the test. Im sorry about your cutter. that is major lame but i know you will be able to fix those issues please reffer to the other thread here: http://www.cnczone.com/forums/genera...-software.html
