Hi! I would like to scrape a linear pattern on a plate, with an insert, without rotating the spindle. I have a vertical milling CNC Haas VF-2
Is there a setting that will allow the machine to run without rotating the spindle? Thank you for your help.

Have you tried just orienting the spindle with M19? I do not know if you can then move the axes under feed without getting a spindle not turning alarm.
An open mind is a virtue...so long as all the common sense has not leaked out.

Of course You do your job. But i think this machine for machining in rotational. Be sure not to damage spindle bearings

M19 direction?
Does anyone know how to set spindle direction when indexing using M19 on a Haas, CW versus CCW?
