    Question Zero point Z on cnc88

    hi there,
    how can i take the zero point in Z aXis on an CNC88HS with a tool like this: Haimer GmbH - Universal 3D-Taster

    Im not sure if this is the correct way but i have exactly same 3d taster and i have worked with 88HS for years

    For Z you need to input the lenght of your taster (just like any tool) multiplied by two as locator diameter. When storing Z offset just choose positive side and thats it. It should give you your locator lenght as "locator compensation" in same screen.
